NRMA Parks and Resorts Promises a Feast of a Holiday at Batemans Bay

NRMA Parks and Resorts has secured the oceanfront Batemans Bay Beach Resort in the Eurobodalla region of the New South Wales South Coast, promising guests a feast of a holiday in the state’s unofficial seafood capital.

The popular Big4 branded holiday park will be renamed NRMA Batemans Bay Beachfront Holiday Resort as the newest addition to the member organisation’s growing portfolio of properties across Australia’s eastern states and brings the total number of NRMA-branded and operated holiday parks to 38.

Just four hours’ drive from Sydney and two hours from Canberra, Batemans Bay is a popular holiday destination, with the friendly community settled along the banks of the Clyde River. Stretches of pristine beaches and calm estuaries provide visitors plenty of opportunities for relaxing, boating and fishing or mingling with wildlife on hikes or on a submarine snorkelling adventure. Freshly caught seafood including oysters, prawns and game fish is a dining highlight of a visit to the Batemans Bay coast.

NRMA Batemans Bay Beachfront Holiday Resort features a range of accommodation options from five-star villas and cabins to protected sites for campervans, caravans and tents. Onsite guest facilities including a large pool, mini golf, giant jumping pillow and camp kitchen make the resort an easy base from which to relax and enjoy holidays in Batemans Bay. The resort’s beachfront location is within easy walking distance of Batemans Bay amenities including shops, restaurants, cafes and the cinema.

NRMA Parks and Resorts has been awarded a twelve-year management contract from the Eurobodalla Council for the Batemans Bay property, offering a real chance for the holiday park to bring about a positive impact on the community and its offering as an appealing holiday destination well into the future.

NRMA Parks and Resorts CEO Paul Davies said the group was excited to add such a popular property to its growing portfolio of premium holiday parks across the country.

“We’re especially pleased to be building options for our guests to explore the beautiful South Coast on a stay with NRMA,” Mr Davies said.

“While NRMA Batemans Bay Beachfront Holiday Resort provides all the fun of a traditional seaside holiday for families and couples, there is so more to explore in the region, from private beaches and nature walks in the Murramarang National Park, shorter day trips to Shell Harbour or Narooma to fishing, boating and cracker fish and chips shared outdoors – we’re really offering our guests a swag of options to explore Batemans Bay and the whole region,” he said.
