NRMA Treasure Island Holiday Park guest information

The wish of management and staff is for all guests to be able to enjoy a safe, happy, friendly and relaxing stay while at NRMA Treasure Island Holiday Park on the . Be considerate of others and ensure your site and belongings are kept secure and tidy at all times. Please read the following which applies to all guests, residents or invited guests.

Amenities

There are two amenities blocks available 24 hours for your convenience. All children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times. Please consider others when using these facilities by leaving them in a neat and tidy condition.

BBQ Areas

A number of FREE BBQ areas are available throughout the park. Remember to please leave area clean after use.

Bikes/Scooters etc

To be used during daylight hours only & please observe all road rules including the wearing of helmets and necessary protective gear. Children are to be supervised at all times. Do not use in the main entrance/exit area and the main street in the resort. Go-kart hire available at the Bistro.

Business

Fax/photocopy/mail services area available from reception. Fees may apply for some business services.

Camp Kitchen

There is a camp kitchen situated in the park for your convenience. Crockery/cutlery not provided. Food left in the fridge should be marked with your name and site number. Please leave clean after use.

Check in

Powered and unpowered sites – check in from 11am

Ensuite sites – check in from 12 noon

Cabins / villas – check in from 2pm

Townhouses and Pandanus Villas – check in from 3pm

Safari tents- check in from 2pm

Check out

All rooms/sites to be vacated by 10am on day of departure. Should you wish to check out before reception opens or extend your stay, please make alternate arrangements the day prior.

Cot/Highchair hire

Free cot/highchair is available for the duration of your stay pending availability. Please advise reception of your requirements prior to arrival. 

Evacuation plan

Please make yourself familiar with our evacuation point in case of any unforeseen emergency. In case of emergency, please remain calm and follow instruction from staff. For after-hours emergency only, please call 07 5500 8600 or 000 in cases relating to FIRE, POLICE or AMBULANCE. Our local police number is 07 5537 5099.

See map for location. Please do not empty your waste into any amenity blocks.

Family Bathroom

Located in the main amenity block. Key required – see reception

Fires

No open fires are to be lit at any time.

Foxtel

Select accommodation types in the park offer free Foxtel. For information on the channels available please see reception.

Generators

The use of generators is not permitted.

Hire Equipment

Refundable deposits are required on all hire equipment. In most cases photo ID can be used in place of cash. See the kiosk for further details

Linen

All linen is provided in all accommodation. Bed in main bedroom is made up, however other beds are not. A linen change/service will be offered if your stay is for more than 7 nights.

Laundry

Two laundry blocks are provided for guest use. Machines are coin operated – change is available from reception and Galleon’s Bistro during  operating hours. Open & closing times are posted on the door of each facility. Temporary clothes lines may not be erected. Clothes lines are provided in both laundries for guest use. Ironing boards are also located at each facility  for hire from reception. Washing powder is available for purchase at each laundry or at reception.

Internet

WiFi antennas are located throughout the park providing complimentary access to guests. Due to the ever-changing environment of a holiday park and varying customer computers, signal cannot be guaranteed everywhere, however, outside areas are well covered. Reception will provide guests with a complimentary access code on request at the time of check in.

Mail

Guests expecting mail during their stay, please address to: ATTN: Guest Name, C/- Treasure Island Holiday Park, 117 Brisbane Road, BIGGERA WATERS, QLD, 4216.

Messages

Phone messages are listed on the message board outside reception.

Parking

All sites/accommodation offer parking for one vehicle only. Please park your car within your allotted position and not on the roadways. Boats/trailers will only be accepted on site providing they fit and are approved by management. Visitors should park their vehicles in the visitor parking area at the front of the property. No visitor vehicles are allowed in the park without prior consent from management.

Pets

Sorry, no pets allowed.

Quiet Time

Please be respectful of the enjoyment of others within the resort by restricting noise from television, music & social gatherings between the hours of 10pm & 8am.

Reception Hours

8am – 6pm every day. Closed Christmas Day.

Safety

For the safety of all guests, we require that all minors are back at their registered accommodation/ site by 10pm. Adults/parents are responsible for all minors in their care.

Security

While Park Managers do their best to ensure a safe and secure environment, we do recommend that visitors to the park take the precaution of securing items of value left outside their tent, caravan or cabin during the day and overnight.

Smoking

Please note that smoking is not permitted in any accommodation, in common areas and in the bistro.

Special needs bathroom

Located in the main amenity block. Key required – see reception.

Speed limits

All roads in the resort are shared between pedestrian & vehicles. Speed limits are walking pace only.

Surveillance cameras

Please be aware that surveillance cameras are used within our property.

Tour desk

Our reception staff are only too happy to assist with any queries you may have. Discounted theme park tickets are available from reception, along with a number of available tours and attractions. Most tours booked through our office offer a complimentary pick up and drop off service.

Travel insurance

We recommend all guests take out travel insurance whilst on holidays. This should protect against the unlikely event that you may be forced to cancel. Examples of unforeseen circumstances: In case of bad weather (excess rain, etc), death in the family, transport difficulties (plane strike, flights being cancelled, road closures, etc), server emergency events (flood, fire, etc)– these are just some issues you may face. Insurance policies vary between providers so take the time to research thoroughly to ensure you are protected against all issues that may be encountered.

Visitors

All visitors should park in the designated visitor parking area and be registered on arrival.

Water hazards

Parents and guardians please note the location of the creek which may pose as a water hazard to small children or other non-swimmers. The creek is clearly identified on our site plans and strict supervision should be maintained to prevent children and non-swimmers from gaining access. Treasure Island Holiday Park, its owners, directors, employees or agents shall not be held responsible or liable for any death or injury caused to any persons directly or indirectly through gaining access to lagoons or any other water hazard in the park and Treasure Island Holiday Park hereby indemnifies and holds harmless, its owners, directors, employees or agents from any actions, claims or other suits or demands which may arise.

Wildlife

We ask that you not feed any of the wildlife as human food can be detrimental to their health.

Not Allowed List

The following is not allowed under any circumstances:

NO SWEARING, ILLEGAL DRUG USE, NO EXCESSIVE USE OF ALCOHOL, NO UNDUE MESS AROUND SITE, NO UNREGISTERED OVERNIGHT GUESTS, NO UNDUE NOISE, NO ACTS OF VIOLENCE OR ABUSE, NO SMOKING IN ACCOMMODATION, NO UNREGISTERED VEHICLES AND NO DRIVING LESSONS TO BE CONDUCTED IN THE PARK GROUNDS

** FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH ANY OF THE ABOVE INCLUDING ANY DAMAGE CAUSED TO RESORT ACCOMMODATION OR PROPERTY MAY RESULT IN THE GUEST BEING ASKED TO VACATE AND LEAVE THE PROPERTY WITH NO REFUND ISSUED. PLEASE READ OUR REFUND POLICY PRINTED ON YOUR RECEIPT ISSUED ON CHECK IN **

Note: Any caravan/campervan leads connected to our power outlets must be 15 AMP tested and tagged! The use of double adaptors is not allowed!

PLASTIC COVERS, CARPETS OR MATS OUTSIDE TENTS OR CARAVANS ARE NOT  PERMITTED ON ANY LAWNED AREA. SHADE CLOTH OR SIMILAR IS WELCOME.
