Bear Grylls Survival Academy

Age requirements

We look to cater for as many ages as possible, however due to the mission content, specific age limits apply. Missions 1-4 require child participants be aged 8-17. Accompanying adults can attend free of charge to supervise. If adult/guardian wishes to participate an additional mission fee will apply. The Family Mission requires all child participants aged 4-17 to be accompanied by a paying adult. A minimum of one parent and one child is required when booking the family mission.

Risk waiver

It is a condition of booking that the “Risk Waiver” form must be completed, signed and returned to us prior to mission commencement by responsible parent/guardian.

Mission pricing

Mission pricing is set at $12.50 for NRMA members and $25 for non-members, per participating child or adult. We reserve the right to alter any of our advertised mission prices. Current mission pricing will be displayed prior to confirming your booking.

Booking and cancellation

Mission bookings are only available to guests staying within NRMA Parks & Resorts at time of booking. In order to confirm your booking, full payment is required. If you change your mind and decide not to proceed with your booking, you may notify us by email or phone and a full refund will be made. Any cancellations received less than 3 hours prior to mission commencement will forfeit any monies paid. Refunds/credits will not be offered for not showing up in time for the mission.

If we change or cancel your booking

We reserve the right to change or cancel your booking. If we make a change and you wish not to accept it, you can take any alternative mission we are able to offer you.

Your responsibility for your booking

When you make a booking, you guarantee that you have the authority to accept and do accept on behalf of your party the terms of these booking conditions. This means that you are responsible for making all payments due, notifying us if any changes or cancellations are required and for receiving the confirmation and keeping your party informed.

Behaviour

The behaviour of participants greatly impacts others involved in our activities; therefore, we ask that participants and guests behave in a friendly manner. All activities are offered to create positive and safe experiences, focusing on fun and enjoyment. If the behaviour of a child or adult is negatively impacting the operation of the activity, or causing possible safety issues, we reserve the right to terminate the individual’s participation in the activity. In this instance, a refund will not be provided. Furthermore, if the participant causes damage to any property or equipment, reimbursement to replace or repair same will be payable to NRMA Parks & Resorts prior to departure at the conclusion of the accommodation period Furthermore, we shall be under no obligation whatsoever to pay compensation or meet any costs or expenses (including but not limited to alternative accommodation) you may incur as a result of your mission inclusion being terminated.
