As much or as little as you like! There is a range of fantastic activities and facilities for the whole family to enjoy including our Splashaway Bay water park.
Kids will be happily entertained by the giant jumping pillows, adventure playground, games room or making new friends at the Kidz Korner activities program and huge entertainment barn.
While the kids are busy having fun, why not relax with a swim in the heated resort pool complex with spa and waterslide, take a stroll along Umina Beach or simply kick back at our cafe Bluebottles by the Beach and enjoy a great coffee or hamburger.
Splashaway Bay Waterpark
Splashaway Bay Waterpark is a family friendly facility that is designed to suit kids of all ages and abilities. They can have endless fun splashing about under all the fun features, whilst the parents relax under the shade and have a BBQ.
Let the kids escape in our adventure playground area with two giant jumping pillows, swings, balancing bar, climbing gym and slides.
Cool off in the pool
Our newly renovated tropical resort pool complex comes complete with waterfall and slide, toddler’s wading pool and a spa. In the cooler months the pool is also heated for your continued enjoyment
Whether they’re bouncing on the giant jumping pillow, playing in the playground or playing with new friends your children will be smiling all day long! Take on your friends in the games room, or just chill out and watch TV.
Kids love driving the Buggies around the streets of the park. Hire a buggy during your stay and you’re sure to keep the kids happy!
Head for the beach
Spend the day surfing the waves at the beach and joining in a fun family game of beach volleyball.
Bike Hire – open 24/7
Located inside the park, near the slide pool is an automatic self-service bike hire station. Simply insert a credit card, select bike, hire period and take the bike. The station is open 24 /7. Customers return the bikes to the same station. Free helmets, maps and locks are available nearby.

Australian Reptile Park
The Australian Reptile Park is regarded as one of the country’s premier attractions. The Sanctuary is the hands-on zoo and boasts loads of animal interaction and exciting wildlife shows. Enjoy the children’s adventure playground, cafe and picnic area, free BBQs and hand feed friendly kangaroos
Australia Walkabout Wildlife Park

Peninsula Recreation Precinct
The Peninsula Recreation Precinct is a multi-purpose recreation facility located at Umina Beach incorporating a recreation building, playground, park facilities, sporting and environmental opportunities. The multi-level playground is a unique, challenging and innovative play space with equipment suitable for all ages and levels. The playground boasts junior, middle junior and senior play areas. Park facilities include BBQ and picnic facilities all linked by fully accessible pathways.
Treetop Adventure Park
TreeTop Adventure Park, was the first company building treetop rope courses in Australia. It aims to maximise the potential for excitement in a natural setting whilst having a minimum impact on the environment. This is a magnificent way to hang out in the tree tops come rain or shine! It has115 challenges including 20 flying foxes, 4 courses for children 3 – 9 years of age, 17 flying foxes for Juniors (3 courses) and Adults (4 courses).
The incredible team at Sky Dive & Beyond can help you discover the magic of tandem skydiving. You will perform the jump from the sandy beaches and amazing coastal views of the Central Coast. The Wyong Milk Factory
The Wyong Milk Factory has been lovingly repaired, saved and salvaged, and is enjoying a new lease of life. There is something here for all the family to enjoy! The main building, is a rural-industrial space with winding nooks and crannies home to an eclectic mix including a bakery, a coffee roaster and a boxing fitness studio on the ground floor and a cycle studio on the top level. When you visit the Wyong Milk Factory you can also enjoy the local produce from an award winning producer of cheese and yoghurt and hand crafted gourmet chocolatier!
Scuba Dive At The Ex-HMAS
The Ex-HMAS Adelaide is a former Australian naval warship that was purpose prepared and sunk to create an artificial dive reef. Located approximately 1.8km off Avoca Beach near Terrigal on the Central Coast of New South Wales, in 32 meters of water this site has been prepared and optimally located to make it attractive to divers of all levels of experience.
Segway Central Coast

Glenworth Valley invites you to escape amongst 3,000 acres of unspoilt wilderness – located in a deep valley in the hinterland of NSW’s Central Coast. Glenworth Valley is a leisurely one hour drive from Sydney and Newcastle CBD’s, 15 minutes from Gosford or 20 minutes north of Hornsby.
Daily Pelican Feeding
Pelican feeding is conducted daily at The Entrance, Memorial Park from 3.30pm. Be early and watch as the pelicans arrive earlier, eager for a feed. A special area has been built where the pelicans gather each afternoon, waiting to be fed fish donated by the local fish shop. This gives the feeding officers an opportunity to locate and treat any injured birds.
Avoca Beachside Markets
Avoca Beachside Markets is held every 4th Sunday of each month at the picturesque Heazlett Park Foreshore of Avoca Beach. Please respect Heazlett Park if you attend and be mindful of this beautfiful location in regards to waste, parking and environmental damages and we are pet friendly but ask you to please ensure that you manage them accordingly.
Brisbane Water National Park
Brisbane Water National Park is on the central coast near Gosford, north of Sydney. The park offers a range of wonderful experiences, making it a great daytrip or weekend away from the city. Come to see colourful spring wildflowers, ancient Aboriginal engraving sites and scenic views from the park’s lookouts. There are great fishing spots to discover, along with walking and cycling trails that cross rainforest and rugged sandstone country. The park’s waterways are a great place to spend a day on the water, so don’t forget your kayak.
