NRMA Agnes Water Holiday Park
Located on the traditional lands of the Goreng Goreng peoples, Agnes Water is Queensland’s most northern surf beach and the southern gateway to the Great Barrier Reef. Choose from a caravan site or camp site, beachfront cabin, or glamping experience. With 280 days of sunshine a year and crystal-clear waters, spend your time relaxing by the beach, exploring islands, catching a wave, or discovering the neighbouring town of Seventeen Seventy.
Enjoy the great outdoors and soak up the sea air from your caravan or camp site, or bask in comfort inside a cabin, villa or glamping safari tent. Whatever your style or budget, we have something for everyone.
It’s time to tick one of Australia’s treasured gems off your bucket list – the Southern Great Barrier Reef. Agnes Water is the ideal base to explore this natural beauty and Lady Musgrave Island is also a must-see, as the only coral island on the Great Barrier Reef. Where else can you get up close and personal with a reef, an island, coral, marine life, flora, fauna and everyone’s favourite, turtles? If snorkelling and scuba diving is your thing, be sure to visit Fitzroy Reef, offering a naturally formed tidal entrance, an abundance of marine life including manta rays, bull rays, dolphins, turtles and a variety of colourful fish species.
Is good surf a requirement for your holiday? Well, you’re in luck. Agnes Water is home to Queensland’s most northern surf beach. The locals recommend Agnes Water Beach as their break of choice, stretching 6km to Seventeen Seventy headland with the best waves found at the Point. Even better, the beach is directly in front of our holiday park.
If you’re looking for something a bit more relaxed, Agnes Water Beach is great for kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, kite surfing and more. Who knows, the local dolphins might even pop their heads up to say hello.
