Guests can enjoy the nightly Welcome to Country ceremony offered by the Adnyamathanha or Yura staff with traditional songs and stories about the landscape. This spectacular landscape can be explored on foot, mountain bike, by 4WD or from the air with a wide range of tours operating at the resort year-round. Guests can enjoy the casual vibe in the Ikara Lounge, Bar & Bistro with options to sit outside under the gum trees, or sample local seasonal produce and bush foods Indigenous-inspired menu at the Wilpena Pound Resort Dining Room. Menus have been created by Australia’s only hatted Indigenous chef, Clayton Donovan to deliver a taste of local native ingredients and Indigenous flavours.

Wilpena Pound Resort is located 429 kilometres north of Adelaide and is accessible via sealed roads or via a scenic flight transfer from Adelaide or Whyalla.
