Client RAC has announced the acquisition of Palm Grove Holiday Resort renamed RAC Cable Beach Holiday Park, taking their stable of parks in WA to eight. Located opposite Cable Beach in the north west of the state the park, to be managed by NRMA Parks and Resorts, builds on RAC’s plan to provide its members and other guests with quality accommodation in key tourism destinations around Western Australia.

RAC’s Executive General Manager Brand and Tourism, Tony Pickworth stated the park, located a short 5‐minute walk from iconic Cable Beach, is placed to provide the whole family with a world‐famous beach holiday experience. “RAC Cable Beach Holiday Park includes self‐contained family cabins as well as powered caravan and camping sites, giving guests options to tailor their holiday.” Mr Pickworth said.

The resort joins other iconic WA locations in the RAC Parks and Resorts family, including RAC Exmouth Cape Holiday Park, RAC Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort, RAC Cervantes Holiday Park, RAC Busselton Holiday Park, RAC Karri Valley Resort, RAC Margaret River Nature Park and the Ningaloo Reef Resort in Coral Bay.

Australia’s leading holiday park management company NRMA Parks and Resorts, which is owned by the NRMA, owns and manages over 40 parks around Australia. CEO of NRMA Parks and Resorts Paul Davies confirmed the Cable Beach property in WA was a valuable addition to it’s park management portfolio and linked well with the company’s strategy to grow tourism in regional Australia. “Both the RAC and NRMA Parks and Resorts are dedicated to providing guests with exceptional holiday experiences through combining fantastic locations, great hospitality and excellent facilities. This philosophy applies both for our client park owners and our own properties,” said Mr Davies.

All RAC parks and resorts are designed to encourage Western Australians to holiday in their own backyard as well as offer value for money experiences in WA’s most popular tourism destinations. NRMA, and other motoring club members receive discounts on stays, with RAC members receiving up to 20 per cent. Guests also have the option to use RAC Parks & Resort’s ‘lay‐by’ system, available via the park’s online booking channel to book a holiday and pay it off in instalments.
