NRMA Parks and Resorts acquires holiday park at Halls Gap

NRMA Parks and Resorts has expanded its portfolio of properties with the acquisition of the Big4 Grampians Parkgate Resort at Halls Gap.

The popular holiday park has been renamed NRMA Halls Gap Holiday Park.

NRMA Parks and Resorts CEO Paul Davies said NRMA Halls Gap Holiday Park is an important inclusion in its network of 30 properties due to its great location near the Grampians National Park. The acquisition is the 8th holiday park for the group within Victoria.

“Now when visitors reach our Portland Bay Holiday Park, they can veer inland to experience the grandeur of the Grampians and the hospitality of Halls Gap. We are focussed on encouraging as many people as possible to get out of the city and explore regional Australia,” said Mr Davies.

According to the NRMA’s latest tourism report, regional tourism in Australia is heading towards being a $150 billion industry by 2030.

“Consumers tell us they’re looking for family holidays that don’t stretch the budget or involve expensive overseas travel – it can really be as simple as jumping into the car and discovering what our beautiful country has to offer in our own backyard,” said Mr Davies.

“NRMA Members and our guests can now essentially take their motorhome or caravan and drive from one end of the east coast to the other, enjoying exclusive discounts and benefits along the way.”

NRMA Halls Gap Holiday Park features 45 villas and cabins and more than 65 powered sites for caravans and tents on the banks of the Hopkins River.

NRMA Members are eligible for privileges through NRMA’s new membership program NRMA Blue (stay 4/pay 3, or 10% off for shorter stays).
