NRMA Parks and Resorts acquires another holiday park in Tropical North Queensland
NRMA Parks and Resorts has added its first inland holiday park in Tropical North Queensland to their growing portfolio, with the acquisition of Big4 Atherton Woodlands Tourist Park.
The popular holiday park has been renamed NRMA Atherton Tablelands Holiday Park.
NRMA Parks and Resorts CEO Paul Davies said the new property complements its other holiday parks located in Cairns and Palm Cove, and will entice holidaymakers to stay longer in the region.
“Our guests will love exploring the stunning natural attractions on offer in the Atherton Tablelands region, all of which are easily accessible from the park including lush rainforests and magnificent waterfalls,” said Mr Davies.
“There is so much to see in the area, and with the acquisition of the new NRMA Bowen Beachside Holiday Park, visitors can experience the best of the Whitsundays, Great Barrier Reef and Tablelands in a one drive itinerary.
NRMA Parks and Resorts has a portfolio of 30 properties around Australia.
“With NRMA Atherton Tablelands Holiday Park joining the family, NRMA Members and our guests can now essentially take their motorhome or caravan and drive from one end of the east coast to the other, enjoying exclusive discounts and benefits along the way.”
According to the NRMA’s latest tourism report, regional tourism in Australia is heading towards being a $150 billion industry by 2030.
