NRMA Darlington Beach Holiday Resort
Nestled between the beautiful Arrawarra Beach and the 5,400 hectare Wedding Bells State Forest, NRMA Darlington Beach Holiday Park is the perfect home base for your mountain biking adventure.
The Woolgoolga Coastal Loop is great for beginners. Enjoy the beautiful coastal scenery as your ride takes in three spectacular headlands and five pristine ocean beaches along the way. The distance and terrain vary across the loop, but with so many incredible spots to stop and admire, you’ll want to pack a picnic and your swimsuit for a perfect day out.
Cows with Guns in Pine Creek State Forest is another popular run, offering over 14km of single and double flow tracks and some of the most incredible scenery. Cows with Guns includes the Sidewinder Trail – a classic downhill berm run with pump rollers and tabletops in between – the Zarzoff through to Creek Trail, and the Back of Bourke Trail which is popular with the locals. These tracks hug the banks of the beautiful Pine Creek and are suitable for beginner to intermediate bikers, so it’s fun for the whole family. Remember some of these tracks are two-driectional, so keep an eye out for oncoming cyclists.
Up for something a litte more challenging? Many routes, including the 2km Mount Caroma Downhill and 12km Sawmill offer banked turns, roller coaster style tracks with short pinchy climbs and exhilarating, adrenaline-pumping downhill runs. Fun jumps, breath-taking drops, fast sections and natural obstacles are built in and around the beautiful forest. The Sawmill loop is a favourite among Coffs Harbour locals and for good reason.
