Discover Ballarat’s rich heritage resulting from the gold rush years. Marvel at historic buildings that still stand today or learn all about the gold mining era at Sovereign Hill, just metres from our holiday park. This outdoor museum is a re-creation of a township dating from the 1850s, complete with gold panning, underground mines, costumed characters, historical shops and dwellings, coach rides and more. Named ‘Australia’s Best Tourist Attraction’, it’s absolutely a must-see.
